PROTECTING YOUR ID ON THE INTERNET IS A WAY OF PROTECTING YOURSELF

Over the years, one problem that has plaqued most countries is the control and issuing of ID's. One question I always ask myself is that why should my ID become insecured? Am i safe if my ID is not safe?
Most countries have tried to solve this problem by using the Internet to protect IDs but to no avail. Some use the blockchain but the problem still seems not solved. Someone may ask, why is this problem still not solved even after using the blockchain which should have proven more effective?
The answers are simple and they are;
1.There does not exist a two way trust mechanism with ID transfers on the blockchain.

2.There is no existence of a secure way to issue an ID card, a license, a passport or a visa using the current communication channels.

These problems look challenging but there is good news for everyone because there is the existence of Decentralized id (DID).

WHAT IS DID?

Decentralized ID (DID) is;
(1) A schema to provide authentication services securely on a decentralized network.
(2) A democratic blockchain-based foundation with the aim of protecting people's IDs on decentralized computer systems.

THE SOLUTIONS DID PROVIDE

As stated earlier, most problems have been faced with the protection and issuing of IDs on the blockchain and these problems ignited DID to find solutions to these problems. The solutions include;
1. DID provides a two-way trust mechanism with ID transfers on the blockchain.
2. DID employs a public blockchain network to show how ID can be securely issued on the blockchain.

Now are you wondering why you need to join DID? Are you asking what happens to your ID with the traditional system?
Now let me tell you what happens to your ID when you use the traditional system:
1. Your ID is stored on a private cloud.
2.Your ID is in control of a private organization.
3. Your security is at risk since your ID is being abused and tracked.
4. There is no proof of ID transfer.
5. SSL is breakable and monopolized
6. There is a totalitarian approach to your ID requests on the internet.
7. There is no way to issue IDs securely.
I know these are not ways that you would want your ID to be managed. Now let me give you ways that your ID is protected with DID.
In the DID system;
1. Your ID is stored on your own device because your privacy is key to DID.
2. You control your ID which you can as you want.
3. The DID foundation ensures that any usage of your data is approved by you and this prevents your ID from being abused.
4. There exist proof of transaction which is available on a distributed ledger.
5. BOCA certificates ensures security and legitimacy of the request.
6. DID system also provides a two-way trust mechanism.
7. Complete blockchain backed ID issuance scheme.

THE DID FOUNDATION

The reasons for the formation of the DID foundation.
As the world is constantly changing and technology is being improved on, we believe that the decentralized world is a revolution and a shift from the communication structure we have in the world. This proposed foundation will work gallantly to ensure that people's IDs are protected.
Currently, the internet world is in jeopardy when it comes to respect to  privacy and IDs. The data of most people is being controlled by a few companies and the individual does not get access to his or her own data. IDs are being abused and tracked and this is not a good sign.
What the individual needs for protection of IDs is an organization rather than a company to bridge the gap between ID-requesting bodies and ID holders.

Chose DID now by participating in our ICO as we help to protect our IDs. Remember that your ID represents you and if your ID is at risk,  then you are also at risk.
